Grown in the misty mountains of Kirishima in southern Japan, this first-harvest matcha comes from a single, passionate producer renowned for the purity of his work. Thanks to rich volcanic soil and crystal-clear water, he offers a matcha of exceptional quality —smooth, silky, and without any bitterness.

After testing more than 14 varieties , this is the one I chose for the shop: a matcha that is balanced, refined, and simply delicious . Stone-ground using the traditional Japanese method, it retains all its freshness and nutritional richness.

Taste: A delicate, vegetal profile with a hint of umami, perfect for a creamy matcha latte or enjoying neat. No bitterness, just a silky smoothness.

Benefits:

• Powerful antioxidants : Rich in EGCG, an antioxidant known for its positive effects on metabolism, heart and brain health.

• Stable energy : the natural combination of caffeine and L-theanine provides calm concentration, without nervousness.

• Mental clarity : L-theanine stimulates alpha brain waves, promoting focus and relaxation.

• Pure and uncompromising: No additives, no sugar, no fillers. Certified gluten-free.

Valérie's review: “I tasted more than 14 matchas before finding this one. None of the others come close: zero bitterness, a smooth and silky texture, a refined vegetal taste. It is, without a doubt, the most elegant and balanced matcha I have ever drunk.”

Organic matcha green tea (first harvest tencha, stone-ground) – origin: Kirishima, Kagoshima, Japan.
