Ideal as a traditional matcha tea or a premium latte.
Preparing matcha tea:
- Sift ½ tsp of matcha into a bowl or cup.
- Add 60 ml (2 oz) of hot water (just before boiling, around 75–80°C).
- Whisk vigorously in a zigzag motion (with a bamboo or electric whisk) until a nice foam is obtained.
- Add a little more hot water to suit your taste.
Latte version:
Prepare your matcha as above, then add your favorite hot, frothy milk.Personally, I froth my oat milk, then gently pour it over my matcha.
